Permanent Roofline Lighting
Addressable LEDs built into the eave line and out of sight in daylight. Warm white on an ordinary Tuesday, color on the holidays, all of it from your phone. Installed once — nobody is on your roof every November.

It is not Christmas lighting
Seasonal light hanging is a service you buy twice a year, forever. This is a system you buy once. The track goes into the eave, it stays there, and the roof crew never comes back. Most clients run it warm white almost every night and forget it is capable of anything else until December.
Invisible by day, or it looks wrong
The failure mode of roofline lighting is a plastic channel you can see from the street. What decides that is placement: we install into the eave line rather than surface-mounting to whatever plane is easiest. Some product lines can also be matched to your trim color and some cannot — we will tell you which one we are quoting rather than let you find out on install day.
Every pixel is addressable
Each LED is controlled independently, which is what separates a real system from a color rope. Zones, gradients, chases, single accent colors, scheduled scenes, dimming as the evening goes on. You can also just set 3000K and never open the app again — that is a legitimate way to own one.
Built for this climate
Salt air, afternoon storms, and a hurricane season every year. Mounting method is chosen per roof type — barrel tile, flat tile, metal, shingle — and the runs are planned around where water actually goes. The same reasoning we apply to a dock run applies twenty feet up.
Commercial and community work
Roofline is a strong fit for restaurants, hotels, clubhouses, and gated community entrances that want a scheduled seasonal look with no annual install bill. See commercial property lighting and HOA and community lighting.
Price before the driveway visit
The same rule as everything else we sell: you find out what it costs before anyone walks your property. Start with the design tool for the landscape side, and call or text for a roofline measurement — we will give you the range on the phone rather than saving it for the end of a presentation.
Questions we get about permanent roofline lighting
Is permanent roofline lighting the same as Christmas lights?
No. Christmas lighting is a seasonal service: a crew hangs strands in November, you pay again to have them taken down in January, and the cost repeats every year. Permanent roofline lighting is a track of individually addressable LEDs installed once into the eave or fascia, tucked in so there is nothing to look at in daylight. It stays up year round and runs from an app. Holiday color is one of the things it does, not the reason it exists.
Can you see the track during the day?
From the ground, no — that is the whole point of doing it properly. The channel goes into the eave line rather than being surface-mounted to whatever plane is easiest, and we pick the least visible housing the system offers. One thing worth knowing before you buy: some product lines can be matched to your trim color and some cannot. We will tell you which one you are looking at, because a white channel on a bronze fascia is exactly what ruins the look.
What does permanent roofline lighting cost in Naples?
Price is driven by linear footage of roofline, roof height and access, and how many separate runs the elevation needs. A single-storey front elevation is a very different job from a two-storey wraparound with dormers. Rather than quote a per-foot rate that will be wrong for your house, we measure the elevation and quote it — and we'll tell you up front where the number is going to land before we come out.
Do I have to use color?
Most of our clients run warm white almost every night and treat it as architectural lighting — it reads as a clean, even line along the roof rather than as decoration. Color is there when you want it: holidays, game days, a charity color, a party. It is programmable per pixel, so you can also run a single accent color subtly rather than the full rainbow.
How does roofline lighting work with landscape lighting?
They solve different halves of the same problem. Landscape lighting lights the grounds, the palms, and the base of the architecture. Roofline lighting draws the top edge of the house. Together they give you a complete elevation instead of a lit yard under a dark roof. If you already have a Spectrum landscape system, roofline can usually be added without touching the existing design.
Does it work on tile and metal roofs?
Yes. Barrel tile, flat tile, metal, and shingle are all common in Southwest Florida and each needs a different mounting approach at the eave. The mounting method is decided on site, not assumed — that decision is the difference between a track that sits flat for a decade and one that sags after two summers.
